M9 Logistics is committed to providing outstanding freight forwarding, warehousing, customs clearance, and IT solutions. We operate worldwide in many countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. And now we are looking for new colleagues as an Outside sales/ Business Development Manager, who will share our values and become part of our friendly M9 team.
Main Duties
- Own sales pipeline with potential business from different markets/industries for Export/Import from/to EU ( log in CRM tool)
- Achieve a good financial result: saturate the sales funnel with an annual return on gross profit of at least 3x annual salary.
- Active search and attraction of new customers.
- Maintenance and develop the relationship with the customers and generate new business.
- Market analysis and formation of a potential customer base.
- Managing the client at the start-up stage, providing high-quality (competitive) service.
- Achieve revenue and performance targets based on assigned goals.
- Identify market opportunities and trends, create action plans, and report to the manager.
- Turn on that ability to tap into global opportunities while working for a truly global company with offices Worldwide.
- Form a customer base by establishing communication with prospective clients, understanding their supply chain needs, and building out proposals to meet their requirements.
- Solicit our client’s services which include Air/Ocean/Road Import/Export, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
- Maintain consistent communication with our client’s Operations/Customer Service Department and overseas offices.
Required skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years in Air freight sales.
- Fluent English and Dutch.
- Result orientation.
- Commercial thinking.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Sales experience.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
