Therefore, to expand our capabilities we are looking for an Export Coordinator preferably in air freight. This position is a key part of our international operations team, handling both air and ocean shipments. who will share our values and become part of our friendly M9 Team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Alternate IACMS Coordinator for TSA compliance-supporting the Primary IACMS Coordinator with oversight of the TSA's Indirect Air Carrier security program, including updating personnel information, managing STA and STA renewal submissions, and ensuring alignment with 49 CFR Part 1548 regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage export shipments (air and ocean) from booking through delivery.
  • Prepare and process export documentation including HAWBs, MAWBs, B/Ls, AES filings, DGDs, Certificates of Origin, and commercial invoices.
  • Communicate with airlines, steamship lines, truckers, customs brokers, and overseas agents to ensure timely movement of cargo.
  • Track and trace shipments, update customers, and resolve any transit or documentation issues.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with U.S. export regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR).
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure internal system data is complete and current.
  • Support the billing process by confirming charges and preparing final documents for invoicing.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and handling agents for pickup, loading, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in export logistics, with a preference for air freight.
  • Familiarity with AES filings, DG documentation, and export clearance procedures.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments at once.
  • Experience with logistics software (e.g., Cargo Wise, Magaya) is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
